  • Send a Media button straight to Program.
  • Send a pre-defined Command, such as STOP ALL, or TOGGLE LIVE.
  • Fire a Workflow Action
  • Fire a GPI Trigger

Device remote can:

  • Send a TCP/IP or UDP commands to equipment that can be controlled by network commands such as: Vista Spyder, TvOne, Analog Way, Calibre or EnseoΒ
  • Send UDP or TCP Network traffic via a specified port
  • Record UDP Traffic from a specific port
  • For GPU Workflow – Set Board Brightness levels

To create a remote button, right-click an empty Media button in the media page and select Create Remote Control.

Settings are as follows:

NAME: Enter a name for the Remote Button.

DEVICE: Select the device. For a Remote that plays Media Buttons, Media Commands or Workflows, leave the DEVICE set to Click Effects Network.

Thumbnail: By default, the system Remote thumbnail is assigned to a Remote media button. You can select a custom thumbnail by selecting Tools –> Assign custom thumbnail… from the Remote Editor menu bar. This opens a Windows Explorer window and enables you to navigate to a graphics file to be used for the Remote thumbnail. For best results, select either a JPG or BMP file.
